Tandy, Pene’s mum, wanted to go to Africa to see lions in the wild, a lifelong dream-she was seventy-nine years old.

During this trip, Pene and John felt they could help a little community school, so the idea of the books took hold.

They hope to use any proceeds to help this community school.

We would like to dedicate this book to Tandy (Pene’s Mum) who introduced us to Africa when we took her to fulfil her lifelong dream of seeing Lions in the wild when she was 79yrs old!

During this trip we visited a little Community School and realised we could help them with equipment to help the children and makes their lives better. When we got home we wrote this and two other books titled “ABC of Australian and African Animals” and ”Africa for Kids”, to help raise funds to achieve this.

This book will be included at the  International Book Fair in Tucson Arizona  in March 2020- VERY EXCITED!
